In Defense of Positivity + The Positivity Week Challenge!

I think we create our reality. I know: how very “New Agey” of me. I suppose I am to be despised for my insistence on “magical thinking”–but people who roll their eyes at this don’t understand that it’s one rule. There is The Law of Karma and The Law of Divine Patience and The Law of Purpose. And The Law of Seasons. In other words: we create our reality, but we also have karma to work through and we have to be patient and we have to be aligned with our purpose at all time–oh and things must always ebb and flow and are inconstant–if you don’t get all of those rules you will think the Law of Manifestation or Law of Attraction isn’t working for you, when it is. But my life is a testament to this truth: I have always find that if I intend to manifest something I desire, and if it’s aligned with the truth of […]

Coming Soon: Introducing “Shared Space,” a Bi-Weekly Spiritual Facebook Live Virtual Show Featuring Ollin Morales

October 24, 2017

Hey courageous creators, So, as you all know, Courage 2 Create will end at the end of February 2018, but I’m sure you are all wondering what’s next. Well, I’ve finally figured it out! I’ve decided that my new platform will be Facebook Live, and I’m going to be using this to help facilitate discussions that focus on spirituality and our collective awakening process. Tips on how to ground, protect, and heal yourself during the awakening process will be my focus. The format of the show is going to be a lot more loose and improvisational than Courage 2 Create was, and I also hope for it to be less about me and more about our shared journeys. I hope to introduce you to the awesome spiritual teachers and healers who have crossed my path have helped me and touched my life for the past three years and I encourage you all to join in the discussion. My first official […]

The Importance of Self-Belief

The Importance of Self-Belief

October 23, 2017

For over seven years on this blog we have talked about self-belief, self-trust, self-esteem and self-investment. We have learned over the years that this is truly the cornerstone of any success we hope to have in life or in our creativity, but more than anything, I have learned that self-belief is also a requirement if we are to believe in others as well. Today I’d like to focus on what we’ve learned over the years about self-belief and it’s power to change our lives completely. Tools To Help Build Up Your Self-Esteem Over the years one of the most persistent issues my readers faced was a lack of self-worth. No, it wasn’t someone trying to stop them, or a lack of motivation, or even a lack of skill. One of my readers’ most pervasive blocks was their own limited belief in their ability to pursue their dream. They were the biggest thing standing in their way–perhaps the only thing standing in […]

Healing: The Never Ending Journey

Healing: The Never Ending Journey

October 16, 2017

For nearly eight years we’ve talked about healing: healing writers block, healing emotions, healing our bodies, healing our minds, healing our souls and finally, healing our communities. What have we learned over the last 8 years about healing? Well, first of all: it never ends!!! Today, for Courage 2 Creates last chapter, let’s talk about what we’ve learned about healing over the years. How To Make Yourself Whole My healing journey began simple enough: I wanted to cure my writers block, and so I theorized that if I tackled the block from all sides, surely, something would work. And it did: in fact, approaching my writers block holistically worked almost too well (I even wrote an eBook about it.) Holistic healing soon became the mantra of Courage 2 Create: healing your writers block meant not just working with your mind, but your body, your soul, your heart, and your community–all at once. I learned and shared with you on this blog that […]

Another Hole In The Wall

Another Hole In The Wall

October 9, 2017

(Editors note: this is the final part of an unofficial series as old as the blog itself. Read Part I , Part II, Part III and Part IV.) There’s another hole in the wall. How did that happen? Isn’t that how we began? Maybe it’s the same hole, and the house I built to cover it up, was a waste. Maybe the heat of the fireplace was too hot, burst into flames, and tore my house down. Have I been playing at theater? Is there no escaping my hole? Don’t touch it, don’t come near it, don’t talk about it. It hurts too much. How much paint? How much spackle? How many houses? What’s a house but a building that convinces you there are no unprotected holes? When the whole thing is just one big hole? Maybe it’s time to stop running away from this hole?  Time to live in it. Time to be it. There’s no more escaping. The house, […]
